What is Pilates?
Pilates is a mind body conditioning exercise program that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core stability and posture. The medical world is now realizing the benefits of the Pilates method for the prevention and rehabilitation of back injuries with this unique method of exercise.

Who can benefit from Pilates?
Pilates can be beneficial for:

- Pregnancy: Pre and post natal

Pilates is a holistic approach that sets the Method apart from many other forms of exercise. Indeed, GPs, physiotherapists and health professionals recommend Pilates as one of the safest forms of exercise today.
All classes run over a continous 5 week period for £55
Session times
Beginners
Fridays 6.30-7.30pm
This is Pilates taught at an introductory level. Perfect for those who are new to this form of exercise or want to work out at a less demanding level.

One to One Antenatal / Postnatal Pilates
(class times on request)
Antenatal Pilates is a great low impact way of exercising during your pregnancy. Not only will it help you maintain a level of fitness it is also a good way to increase the strength of your pelvic floor muscles. Antenatal Pilates will also help with your posture, spinal mobility and pelvic stability which will help decrease pregnacy related back pain and pelvic pain. One to one sessions are led by experienced physiotherapists with a specialist interest and training in Pilates instruction. Don't let your pregnacy related back pain affect you any longer.
